So I'm back from a 3 week holiday to SE Asia. I won't be turning this blog into "What I did on my holiday" but will instead be doing "What I read on my holiday".
First up I read In the Shadow of the Banyan by Vaddey Ratner which I read in the sublime surroundings of Angkor Wat
Next was Beyond the Killing Fields by Sydney Schanberg http://www.beyondthekillingfields.com/ which I finished on the bus entering Phnom Penh and which made visiting the Killing Fields and the infamous S-21 especially poignent.
Finished sat by the pool in the sunshine, was The Deaths of Tao by Wesley Chu
I then read Dream London by Tony Ballantyne followed by Crash by Guy Haley
Reviews will be added soon....
Tonight I'm off out to the highly enjoyable BristolCon Fringe event, with tonight's authors being Jo Hall and Kevlin Henney http://www.bristolcon.org/?p=2398
